I most warmly support Helen in expanding her many talents and competencies. I have known her for some 15 years during which she has become a close friend as well as a reliable and dependable cleaner and domestic organiser.

One of Helen’s many strengths is her keen assessment of the most sensible and effective domestic layout which goes way beyond a mere preference for tidiness. I have found this very helpful.

Helen has been eager to develop an environmentally sensitive approach to cleaning, which has taught me many things from which I have benefited enormously.

It’s impossible to capture my gratitude for Helen’s work in a few lines, but here goes:

Ever since Helen started visiting my Dad, she’s made such a positive difference to his life. She’s been dependable, conscientious, caring and honest; always making sure to spend quality time with him, doing things like reading newspapers or looking at old photos together.

The result is a real relationship. My Dad loves having Helen around and looks forward to her visits. Initially, I asked Helen if she could help with cleaning around the house. Not only did she do that to a spotless standard, she showed how proactive and eager to help she was by doing a brilliant job in the garden too. And in the summer, she even left my Dad flowers in the house.

Truly, I can’t sing Helen’s praises enough. She never has to be told what to do. She just does it. With impeccable quality. And as cliché as it may sound, I really don’t know what I’d do without her, and I’d recommend her to anyone. - Mrs J C

Helen has been working for me for the past 7 years. During that time I have found her to be both careful and intelligent. She is meticulously honest, not only in money matters but in making sure that she works for the full time she is paid for.

She has also undertaken a few other jobs for me, in particular, spending a full day de-cluttering the garage which has been entirely full of rubbish and in the process, rescuing those things which are still in some use. She filled a large skip in one day. And while she was doing this, she sorted out the things that were to be kept and left them in very good order.

Helen has been a great help! I have so much trouble seeing past the clutter that I never know where to begin. She steers me gently through the chaos, helping me let go of unnecessary items with words of kindness and wisdom, until we find the beauty underneath it all. It is a mammoth ask but each week we are getting closer to where I'd like to be. It always feels so good to go into a room that we have just worked on and appreciate that my home really can also be that calm haven I desire. Helen has also been a tremendous help when we had to decorate my Dad's new house before moving him in. She arrived promptly, set to work cheerfully and completed the work efficiently. Helen is an exceptionally efficient, meticulous and passionate de-clutterer and cleaner. She has inspired and empowered me to take control of my space. I genuinely cannot recommend her highly enough. I would describe Helen as someone who is a conscientious, thoughtful, and considerate person. Helen performs her role diligently and her standard of work is exceptional! In terms of her personality, she is warm and friendly, yet also holds appropriate boundaries with people. 

Approximately once a year Helen comes to stay and work for us for a week in our family home in The Lakes. I can tell you that she is one of the most honest and responsible people I have ever met. I am very happy to trust her with the care of my home, and for her to stay there, knowing that when I return, Helen will have performed all of the tasks I have asked her to do, plus much more, over and beyond her duties. More importantly she also respects my home, and everything is as it was as I left it but also having had Helen's care whilst we are away.

In all the years I have known Helen, I have never been dissatisfied with her work, and this alone is an exceptional thing.

I would say to you that I would not hesitate to recommend her to you, as an honest, considerate, and exceptionally dedicated person, who goes out of her way to be helpful, and I am extremely grateful for her many years of service.

When Helen said she could turn my kitchen/dining area into something more like it belonged to the rest of the house and one I would be pleased to sit in, I was disbelieving. I could only really imagine it as it had become: a bit of a dumping ground, useful in terms of knowing were things where and hence where to find them, but otherwise a testament to neglect.
So I was amazed when, sure enough, she appeared one day, set about it and transformed the area in only an hour and a half.  I had to do some preparatory work beforehand but this was mainly organizing the stuff in the bureau and checking what was in the bookcase.  Otherwise it was as the photo shows it to be: a place looking very down in the dumps!
I am delighted with the difference.  I have felt drawn to the area and I have enjoyed sitting in it.  It does feel like part of the house again!

I have found Space for You to offer a reliable and top notch service. Helen is methodical and thorough - whatever the task, and can be relied upon to finish tasks to a very high standard. She has helped to tidy and de-clutter much of the house, from drawers and cupboards to entire rooms, the attic, and even the car port,  and I am always impressed at the manner in which she approaches these tasks and how much better we feel after they are completed. In the garden Helen has done hard work clearing plants and hedges as well as offering and implementing planting suggestions. I have no hesitation in offering a 5 star recommendation. - Mr. RW
